Farm Field Days

Geared towards ages 4 to 10

2025-2026 school year

At Happy Little Farmstead, we love welcoming homeschool families for a unique day of hands-on learning and fun!

Our Home Learners Program offers seasonal farm-based activities that spark curiosity, connect kids with agriculture, and encourage exploration!

We provide both English and French learning!

Please read following before registration:

 

A parent or guardian must accompany children at all times. While we strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment, Happy Little Farmstead is not responsible for the supervision or safety of your child. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that your child is accompanied and supervised throughout their visit.​

 

Geared Towards Ages: 4–10 years old 

​

Maximum Participants: 15 children per session

 

Fee per session: $15 + tax per child (includes 1 free adult) 

 

Additional Adults: $5 + tax (must pay upon arrival)

 

Lunch & Snacks: Please bring your own to enjoy during the break

Upcoming Farm Field Day - Honeys Bees & Beekeeping

Date: Tuesday, September 16th and Wednesday, September 17th 2025

Time: 9:45 to 2pm

Max. Number of Participants: 15 children

Fee: $15 plus tax
One free adult per child.
Additional adults $5 plus tax (can be settled upon arrival).

Schedule:

10:15am to 11:00am: Learn about Honey Bees & Beekeeping (Barnyard) 

11:15am to 11:45am: Honey Tasting (Play Barn) 

11:45am to 12:30pm: Lunch Break (Please bring your own lunch)

12:30pm to 1:15 pm: Guided visit to our Orchard 

1:15pm to 2:00pm: Free play and visit the farm animals 

2:00pm: Farm Closed

What to Expect: Learn about corn harvesting, check out the combine harvester, and more!

Abeilles mellifères et Apiculture
Date : Mardi 23 septembre 2025

What to Expect: Explore the farm while learning simple French words and phrases about fall! Hands-on activities, games, and seasonal fun make it easy and enjoyable for kids to pick up French vocabulary.
